The "Rackham Farm Cemetery", then known as "a parcel set apart for burying purposes", was sold on 13 July 1869 by Almeron C. Wilson,
his wife Lovina G. Wilson, and Catherine Farnum to a group of 11 local farmers. This was 3 months before Almeron's daughter was buried there.

The buyers were: Reuben Root, Abel S Barnum, Milo Handy, and Dustin Greeley of Yates and Daniel Root, James Thompson, William Clark,
Harmon Fuller, N.R. Fuller, Alonzo Clark & Alvin Greeley of Carlton.
