HOW TO READ THIS CENSUS
There is a lot of information in this census and it is a bit confusing so please take a few minutes to read these instructions.
First, this census gives not only the age but also the date of birth (month/year).
The data after the Head's profession is the location this family can be found on microfilm.
For instance D97-V 231 means District 97 in the Village #231.
Under the Head's profession you will see how long he or she was married and where the parents were born.
After the age and date of birth of the wife you may find as an example the
number 4/2,
that will denote that she gave birth to 4 children and that 2 are living.
If the person was from a foreign country and if an immigration date was given that was also noted.
On line: January 16, 2000
