Mrs. Clarabelle H. LUDLUM was found dead in bed at her home on Oak Orchard street this morning. Last night she was around as usual, in fact, she has not been ailing in the least, and was in more than ordinarily good health. Her brother, Howard PETTIS, was there early in the evening, and she was, to all appearances, in excellent health and spirits and when she did not arise this morning as usual, her room was entered and she was in bed just as she had retired but life had been extinct for some hours. Dr. Charles H. Turner was called and made an examination, stating that death was due to an attack of heart failure.
The deceased was thirty-nine years of age, and came to Medina to live a year ago last April. Although her residence here had not been long, she was well liked in the community in which she lived and made friends among her neighbors and acquaintances.
Mrs. LUDLUM is survived by a son, Charles, a mother, Mrs. Charles PETTIS, of County Line, a brother, Howard PETTIS, of this place, and a sister, Mrs. R. E. BRETTLE, of Pavilion, New York.
