I William Bidelman of the town of Medina in the County of Orleans and State of New York of the age of fifty five years and being of sound mind and memory do make poublish and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say.
First. I give and bequeath to my wife Nancy C. Bidelman one fifth of all my real and personal estate (provided she accepts of the same in lieu dower) Five hundred Dollars of which one fifth part aforesaid I give to her in her own right to be disposed of by her as she thinks proper and the balance of said one fifth of my said real and personal estate I give to her for and during her natural life which is to be invested by my Executor on bond and mortgage on real estate she my said wife receiving the interest thereof. I also further direct that she my said wife receive as a part of said Five hundred Dollars a demand I have against Josiah Hurd her brother of Sixty Dollars.ccepts of the same in lieu dower) Five hundred Dollars of which one fifth part aforesaid I give to her in her own right to be disposed of by her as she thinks proper and the balance of said one fifth of my said real and personal estate I give to her for and during her natural life which is to be invested by my Executor on bond and mortgage on real estate she my said wife receiving the interest thereof. I also further direct that she my said wife receive as a part of said Five hundred Dollars a demand I have against Josiah Hurd her brother of Sixty Dollars.
Second. I give and bequeath to my daughter Cornelia E. Frost one fifth of all of my real and personal estate deducting therefrom the sum of Six hundred and fifty dollars which she has already received so that with which she has already received she shall receive one said equal fifth part as aforesaid.
Third. I give and bequeath to my daughter Helen A. Bidelman one equal fifth part of all my real and personal estate.
Fourth. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Jane Bidelman one fifth part of all my real and personal estate deducting therefrom the sum of Two hundred Dollars she has already received in a lot in Medina Deeded to her.
Fifth. I give and bequeath to my daughter Harriet A. Bidelman the equal one fifth part of all my real and personal estate deducting therefrom the sum of Two hundred Dollars she has already received in a lot Deeded to her in the Village of Medina. I hereby direct that in the event of my estate being more or less in consequence of my said wife receiving dower that my daughters shall share and share alike in my property considering what those above named have already received as part of their said share.
Lastly. I hereby appoint Sevan W. Merritt my sole Executor hereby directing him to Make such sales of my estate real and personal as is for the best interest of the legatees and to make such equitable payments of legacies in accordance With the above directions as is for the best interest of my heirs and legatees firstly paying off all my debts & liabilities.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof signed sealed and published and declared by the said William Bidelman as his Last Will and Testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto.

Be it remembered that on the 20th day of Dec 1859 the Last Will and Testament of William Bidelman late of the Village of Medina in said County deceased being the foregoing written Instrument hereunto annexed was duly proved before Gideon Ward Esq. Surrogate of the said County according to law as and for the Last Will and Testament of the real and personal estate of said deceased which said Last Will and Testament and the proofs and examination taken thereon are recorded in this office and further that the administration of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said William Bidelman deceased and the execution of the said last Will and Testament were on the same day duly granted and committed by said Gideon Ward to Lavan W. Merritt the Executor named therein he having first duly taken and subscribed an oath that he would faithfully and honestly discharge the duties of such Execution which oath is filed in the Office of the Surrogate aforesaid.
In Testimony Whereof the Surrogate of the said County has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal of office this Sixth day of June 1874
