Catharine Root being duly sworn by us. This is the widow of Levi Root, late of the town of Barre deceased, that said deceased died on the fourteenth day of July last, that the said deceased resided at the time of his death in the town of Barre aforesaid, that the said deceased left personal property in said county of the value of about Three hundred dollars, that the said deceased left no Last Will and Testament to this deposers knowledge or lefief, that the said deceased left three infant children to wit Chester Root, Hariet Jane Root, Ipsilaniti Root, that said children are the only heirs of the said deceased and further says not.
Sworn and submitted this first day of Aug. 1836 Before me Thomas G. Clark, Surrogate.
