Village of Holley

The Village of Holley is located in the Town of Murray on the Erie Canal. The settlement was originally named Saltport.
In 1850 the Villiage of Holley was incorporated and named in honor of Myron Holley, who had also been a commissioner of the Erie Canal.
The Holley School District covers the Towns of Murray & Clarendon as well as small portions of Barre & Albion.
